Empty Pockets

These want desperately to be on my feet. They're exactly the silhouette I've been craving. I can't afford them. But, if I could, what are your thoughts on a $395 pair of shoes? Have you ever done it? Would you?

  1. Aie aie aie!! no, never done it, but as I get older I do crave shoes that ARENT on sale for 15 euros and last ten days.

I went thru a stage a few years back, lets call it the Catherine Deneuve stage, where I swore I'd buy only quality clothes and shoes, no plastic (unless a kitsch statement)

If they're good quality and not made in Turkey by sandblasting silicosis sufferers (has anyone else heard about the way they treat jeans in factories so we all pay big bucks for the worn look?) I figure its money well spent.

    go for it!

  2. i spent close to 300 dollars for a pair of boots once. but i wear them everyday in the fall and winter so i feel like i get my money's worth. unfortunately they don't look they cost 300 dollars any more.

i'd rather pay that kind of money for a really great purse.

  3. If you were going to wear them everyday all summer I would say it could be worth it.
I prefer to buy my shoes from the clearence rack at DSW and spend my 395 on a vacation somewhere new.
