Today's Search for the Happy

My cupboard is full, but my mind feels empty. I'm in a funny, in-between place right now, with plenty to do and create, but a good amount of static frustration and a sensation of waiting for what's next. Best not to dwell on it, right? I won't; instead, I'll tell you what I'm loving today:

these Victorian German clock faces from Beads and Bits

these girlie decals from Yaelfran

this hand-crank wooden boat {on the rough seas!}
from Cartoon Monster

this vintage barrette from Rosebud Cottage

this mushroom & moss pack from Doris Dotz

this cloud factory from Pearson Maron
{found via scaredy-cat}

this old school wall clock from Moxie Thrift

  1. I would have to say that you are not the only one waiting for whats next. It is such a dilemma to always be looking ahead....But man, I am totally with you!

  2. I would snatch that wall clock up in a second if it weren't a plug-in! My poorly designed kitchen only has one plug on the side that has no wallspace. wah wah.

  3. aren't those static days the worst? i've in a bit of a rut as well, but little posts like these certainly help a lot!

  4. I love the little boat. I didn't know they made kid's toys like that anymore.

  6. Chelsea: Thanks for that; the empathy makes a huge difference!

    Kate: Boo hiss! I wanted to snag it for my bathroom, but the cord would have to trail across the sink ... probably not the best idea, huh?

    Emily: I hate to say it, but I'm glad to know I'm not the only one in that rut. It gets lonely otherwise ;)

    Kittylou: I know! I want to buy it for a little someone, but I'm afraid it would get tossed aside for the louder, flashier toy options {anything with batteries}. I'm all about the handmade, wooden, interactive toy -- maybe I should get it as a present for an adult :)

    Michelle: I agree entirely. They're my favorite, too.
