Onward & Upward

I survived my defense! I have an MFA now!

Full speed ahead ...

There's something I really love about hot air balloons. In the spring and summer, I spot groups of them floating in the sky, likely getting the most spectacular view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I think this vintage print from Banana Strudel's Etsy shop would be really sweet in a nursery or child's room. So fun to look at, and also oddly hopeful and ebullient.

  1. Ay!!! Congratulations!!! I'm very curious about your thesis subject, what was it about? The print is so beautiful...It makes me think of that era when so many daring people found that what was considered impossible was, after all, possible.
Congratulations again! I'm very happy for you! xo

Dia: It was a collection of short stories that I've written over the course of the program.
